ASTON VILLA v FULHAM

OVERVIEW:

Aston Villa are set to take around 7000 fans to the capital for the top of the table clash against Fulham. Aston Villa have been in absolutely unstoppable form. Villa have stormed to the top of the table winning 7 games in a row before visiting Craven Cottage to line up against a Fulham side who also find themselves in fine form. They have won 5 of their last 6 league games conceding just two in the process and this clash is sure to be a big one as the two.

LEAGUE POSITIONS: ASTON VILLA | 2ND - FULHAM | 5TH

Aston Villa sit in the Automatic Promotion spot. After a sensational 7-game winning streak, Villa sit 10 points clear of 7th and 7 point clear of their opponents Fulham.

Fulham will be keen to close the gap after some fine displays.

TEAM NEWS:

Mile Jedinak came in for Birkir Bjarnason against Birmingham, who will have felt hard done by after playing very well in recents weeks excelling in his new midfield role. This will be another decision Steve Bruce has to make. A number of Villa fans agreed they felt Bjarnason hadn't done anything to get dropped but Steve Bruce obviously preferred more steel than Bjarnasons clear forward thinking influence.

Bruce will have a lot of decisions to make with Adomah and Grealish not looking likely to feature. Andre Green has been in fine form with the U23's and will surely be hoping for a chance in the first team squad sooner rather than later. Onomah and Tuanzebe have made little contribution during recent weeks but Bruce will surely be under pressure to give them minutes following their loans.

Lansbury hasn't made an appearance in weeks and will also be hoping to be called into action. Grabban and Davis will both be chomping at the bit to get on in place of the on fire Scott Hogan.

DID YOU KNOW?: Villa won the reverse fixture against Fulham 2-1 with John Terry getting his first ever goal. Albert Adomah scored the winner.
